Summer 2024?

Well, what a start to the year, warm and wet with the Mountains and the Monaro looking a picture.

The fishing has been fantastic even with the high flows and most fish are looking up.

Big Dries like the PMX's and rubber leg Stimulators are finding fish, these flies are great for droppers to search with a weighted nymph, especially Perigons that get down quick. There is plenty of activity in the evenings with Caddis, Mayflies and Midge about. Hoppers are on the move so plenty of action during the day.

The Lakes are fishing well with Mudeyes moving, especially Eucumbene. We are selling lots of Muddlers as well as the traditional Hammils and Mrs Simpsons. With so much rain the levels are changing and there is plenty of food around the edges.

The shop is well stocked with flies and all the latest gear from Simms, Patagonia, Vision, Primal, Fishpond, Scott and Sage.

The latest Simms G3 boot is also in stock as well as the Simms Guide Boa boot that has been very popular as they are so easy to get on and off.
