The Airflo Apex 9ft #5 is another Manic Tackle designed fly rod. The Apex series of rods are premium rods with an affordable price tag. Smooth crisp blank that can pack a punch on the windy days. The Airflo Apex 7'6" #3 is a little beauty. A smaller water rod but still has the ability to turn over a couple of nymphs if you need to. A nicely refined rod with fantastic response and good recovery. Very accurate fly presentation rod. Packaged with a hard rod tube and spare tip. 

Cubitts Foam Mudeye is a mudeye pattern that sits right in the surface. Looking like a mudeye that is just about to finish it's nymph cycle and become airborne. Another great nighttime fly for mudeye feeders. 

Rob's Redhead Midge is a midge pupa with a slim body and a glass need. Great lake and stillwater fly to have with you on a fishing trip.

The Pink Hooligan is a brighter double tungsten bead nymph with an epoxy body. A great early and late river season fly. A very fast sinking fly.   

The Cut Cat is a streamer pattern made from rabbit fur. The fur gives a very naturalistic look. A great baitfish fly for the lake or swinging in the river.

Smethursts Baetis Bomb is a smaller nymph with a double tungsten bead 

The Klink Quill is a slim bodied emerger with a Hi-vis parachute wing. Fussy trout will find this fly hard to refuse. 

The lighter colored version of the CDC Thorax Dun is a fantastic mayfly pattern for smaller water.

The CDC Thorax Dun can be fished as an emerger or dry. This Mayfly imitation sits in the miniscus. A nice delicate fly that's perfect for smaller water. 

A locally designed fly to match the Caddis and Mayfly hatches that can be quite prolific on the Thredbo. A very nice variant of the ever reliable Klinkhammer.

Humpies are a must have in every flyfishers fly box. Originally tied as a beetle imitation but are a very versatile pattern and can be effectively used for caddis and mayfly hatches.

The CDC Caddis Green is a sits right in the miniscus. It's a great emerger or crippled pattern. This fly can also be fished wet. 

Manic Tackles Unreal Egg is just right. A glass bead with a realistic veil it tumbles along the bottom but rarely gets snagged. 

Mick Hall's Laser Minnow has a sparse body and a heavy tungsten bead. Great streamer pattern for aggressive trout. You could even use this fly in the saltwater. 

The Vision Eka 9" #5 is an icredible value for money rod. The blanks are constructed from 24 ton low resin graphite that makes them lightweight and provides a good balance. Sensitive narrow handle and an anodized reel seat.
